ForgeVista Careers

How we grow

We run three career tracks. Each one is a real path with real progression — the IC track in particular is a destination, not a stepping stone toward management.

The three tracks

Most of the work at ForgeVista lives on one of three tracks. You pick the one that fits the kind of leverage you want to create — not the one that comes with the biggest title.

Track 1

Individual Contributor (IC)

Builders, operators, and deep specialists. The IC track scales to a senior-expert level where you set the technical bar for the function and lead client engagements end to end. ICs still work closely with teams and stakeholders — the difference is emphasis: this track is weighted toward technical depth and individual judgment rather than the people-leadership focus of the Manager track. Progression at the top of the IC track is real and durable; this is where most of the technical leadership of the firm actually sits.

Track 2

Manager

For people who want to develop talent and run delivery at scale. The Manager track is its own path — not a promotion from IC. People-leadership work, hiring, leveling, and coaching are the core of the role. Manager-track progression scales to a senior level where you own the operating model for a function.

Track 3

Executive

Executive at ForgeVista is transformational, not administrative. Executive-level leaders shape the business itself — what we sell, who we hire, how we deliver, and the bar we hold. The Executive track is intentionally small; the seat carries real authority and real accountability for outcomes the rest of the firm depends on.

Leveling within each track

Each track is rolled out against the Radford industry leveling framework. We use it so leveling decisions, compensation bands, and growth conversations can be calibrated against the broader market — not invented internally and renegotiated every year. The specific level-by-level criteria live in our internal handbook; your hiring manager will walk you through where the role you're interviewing for sits within the framework.

How tracks interact

  • No forced up-or-out. Senior-level ICs are not pushed onto the Manager track. Many of the most leveraged people at ForgeVista will spend their whole career on the IC track.
  • Lateral moves are normal. Moving from IC to Manager (or back) is a real conversation, not a one-way door. We'd rather you do the work that fits than rack up titles that don't.
  • Executive is a pull, not a push. We don't promote into Executive for tenure. The seat opens when the business needs it, and we hire (internally or externally) for the leverage point that needs filling.
